Using a 4eyes token in combination with U2F or other challenge-response-style tokens

Hello,

I am continuing on my question at Github1, cited below:

I wrote:

Are 4eyes tokens meant to work in combination with
challenge-response-style tokens? I tried 4eyes with a U2F with
little success so far. (The error message was roughly “0 tokens matched”,
even though the pin was correct.)

By pushbuttons you mean OTP tokens, eg. TOTP?

Hi Feiko,

yes, please see here:
http://privacyidea.readthedocs.io/en/latest/configuration/tokens/4eyes.
html

You need to be able to enter the OTP values directly.
This is not possible with C/R.
