I’d like to post a topic that if there’s a possibility or has this been under discussion already (I did not find any).
I am using SimpleSAMLphp module to request 2FA sign in, but would there be a possibilit/option to “remember” my device which has been used to sign in and only require 2FA if there’s a new connection (device, location/IP change) etc? For example, Microsoft 2FA lets to remember my login for 180 days, Google does not require new 2FA session if I logout/session expires and I use the same computer/device.
For me there’s a pretty good party blocker that I have to enter 2FA code with every sign in I need to do and I am looking ways to bypass it for “recognized devices”. Yes, I could use IP whitelist.
