QR code not match user when sending by email. Why?
token_image is different from the user.
Question makes not sense.Information missing.
If you scan this image using three different apps
- Google authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- FreeOTP
you will get three different (rolling) codes.
Only the latest matches the one from PI authenticator…
If this is not the reason, ask the user to make sure the time on his phone is correct…

“match user”? To me this is not clear what this should mean.
However, the token uses a SHA512 hash. Most of the Smartphone Apps will not support this.
@karllo should use SHA1 or the privacyIDEA authenticator.
Thanks. The problem is “Default Hashlib” TOTP. I set sha256.
