I can’t figure out if I can use privacyIDEA with Google Authenticator.
When I try to scan a privacyIDEA QR code with Google Authenticator, I get an error.
You CAN use Google Authenticator with TOTP/HOTP and SHA1. Push is only available via privacyIDEA Authenticator app.
I’m sorry, but I don’t really understand the technical terms.
There’s a website that tells me to enable two-factor authentication.
And this page generates a QR code for me.

it looks like you are not the administrator of the system.
Please ask your admin or helpdesk for assistance. The specification of TOTP and HOTP allow many different parameters. The Google Authenticator is not a perfect app. It does not support all parameters. It could be, that your admin has configured the privacyIDEA server in a way, that the Google Authenticator App does not work with the configuration.
We here can not help you. You need to contact your admin.
