Privacyidea Upgrade from 2.2 to 3.6

We want to upgrade privacyidea from 2.22. to version 3.6. I will also be upgrading Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04 before the Privacyidea Upgrade. Is there anything I should be aware of or concerned about? Any gotchas or any prereqs?
