Offline MFA for v3.1 or v3.2?

Hi good folks,

Is it possible to do “offline” MFA with PrivacyIDEA? I saw some posts back in 2015, but wondering if the newer versions are now capable of supporting this somehow?

If some users don’t have continuous internet connection, how can they authentication back to the PI Server? Assuming this a cache of some sort, or perhaps a unique use of a token type.

Offline authentication is possible (to a certain degree) with the pam_python plugin.
