Hi Cornelius,

I noticed that on specific times of the day, the number of connection
opened by PrivacyIDEA grows significantly and saturates my MySQL DB
capacity. Are there any schedulated background tasks which could cause this?

Hi,

how many users do you manage in your installation? Perhaps this happens
when hopping from token to user view whil logged in?
I have a setup with 100 user and 150 tokens and while hopping around I get
not more than 20 selects per second.

Without backups this is the max value for about 2 months …

You hsould get this investigated.
You may take a look at all timeout settings of the database and database
clients / drivers!
Maybe some connections do not get closed and do not get reused.
